Thursday's GraphiCast, A dry weather pattern will persist across the region through at least the weekend. Breezy winds are expected during the afternoon and early evening hours across the area.

#CALFIREMEU in cooperation with the Hopland Research Extension Center, will be conducted a 60-acre prescribed burn on Hopland Research Center property, located on University Road in Hopland. The burn took place on December 4, 2020. The goals of this prescribed burn were to reintroduce fire as a natural element of the ecosystem, to improve wildlife habitat by inducing new shoots from sprouting species to increase forage production and to reduce overall vegetation in an area to provide the maximum safety benefit to fire suppression operations in the event of a wildland fire, assisting firefighters in protecting lives, residential structures and critical infrastructure in the event of a wildfire. #VMP For more information about preparing your property in the event of a wildfire visit #ReadyForWildfire.

Wednesday's GraphiCast. A strong and fast moving cold front will continue to move south across the area this morning. Heavier showers and gusty winds are likely... with the passage of this front. The annual Fill-the-Boot fundraiser has been set-up virtually this year from December 14, 2020 until January 1, 2021. We are asking everyone to help the firefighters support the MDA in fighting muscle disease.
