Disaster are not just global or regional in size...they can also be in family or individual size. One way to protect ourselves from a family or individual size disaster is the protection from fire.

*Close Before You Doze* Please watch this fire safety video and share! Have working smoke detectors/alarms! ... Preplan 2 escape routes from all rooms! Have a preplanned meeting point outside! Never go back inside a burning house! Call 911! Research shows that 30 years ago, you had about 17 minutes to escape a house fire. Today it's down to three or four minutes. The reason: Newer homes and the furniture inside them actually burn faster. A lot faster!!!
