Giant sequoias have a way of making you feel small as you stare in amazement. We love to watch faces light up as visitors see these magnificent trees for the first time. #bringingbigtreestoyou #bigtrees
New snow fell last night, and the park is looking pretty. The Discovery Tree is a highlight for many visitors who get a different idea of the size of these giant sequoias while walking on top of the stump.
Per Martha, the new iPhone camera has a wide-angle feature that lets you capture the whole tree. Thanks for sharing!
We had new snow this morning! The North Grove was gleaming with snow on the pine needles.
Monday December 28 - 9:45 am. Beautiful - Beautiful North Grove area of park is open. Visitor Center open 10-4. $10 per car day use fee. 209-795-3840 for information.
