Today we were honored to prepare 600 meals for area seniors in partnership WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN and the Ventura Area Agency on Aging (VCAAA). On the menu today: Chef Georgie’s famous meatloaf and house made tamales. We are so grateful to have this opportunity to give back to the community. Helping people in need always feels good! I want to thank everyone at World Central Kitchen, my incredible staff, and each and every one of you - without whom none of this would be possib...le. Just a reminder that we will be open Christmas Eve (1pm-6pm) - our special three-course menu includes your choice of Filet Mignon, Pork Osso Buco, Halibut, or Pasta El Jardín. Not need to worry about cooking this year - relax and let us do it for you! UPDATE: we’ve been hard at work getting ready to reopen for dine-in service which will include a new outdoor patio! This has been a huge project - and, as you can see, it’s still underway. Curbside CARRYOUT and DELIVERY are available, Monday-Saturday from 5:00pm through 8:00pm. Our dining room remains temporarily closed for now. Though the county has given us the okay to reopen, we still haven’t set an exact date for that to happen as we don’t want to rush this very important decision.
