I kept my dog. I got him when I was 18, going to college 40 hours a week, and crazy as hell. Not long after, I moved out of the big city and back to my small to...wn and I brought my dog. He sure didn’t make it easy and would run away all the time, but I would run all the miles and always get him back. When I was 21, I moved across the country and he came with. We’ve lived in 13 places in the last 7 1/2 years and each time, where we lived depended on where would allow him. I have not dated people who didn’t like him and have broken up with boyfriends over him. He’s been a handful and a total pain in my ass, but I’ve been a handful and total pain in the ass, too. We’ve grown up together and here we are almost 8 years later. My partner in crime and my constant through the chaos.
