Thank you to everyone who tried joining us for our trial run of Nature Tales. Due to technical difficulties, we will not be able to continue the livestream. Today is still a wonderful day to get outside and look for butterflies on Learn About Butterflies Day. Thanks again.

Happy World Wildlife Day, today we celebrate and raise awareness of the world’s wild animals and plants. Yes, plants! Plants are also wildlife; they are living after all. But here at the Cache Creek Nature Preserve, everyday is WILDLIFE DAY! The Cache Creek Conservancy manages this wildlife sanctuary, but we don’t do it alone; we rely on the help of partners, donors, and devoted volunteers. They are people who know the value of protecting wildlife, who understand they are irr...eplaceable and who see how they enrich our environment and our lives every single day. They are people who know the value of investing in the future of wildlife. . Throughout the world, different wildlife face many of the same threats: destruction of habitat, proliferation of invasive species, surging pollution levels, reckless exploitation of natural resources, and rapidly changing climates. The Cache Creek Conservancy works to mitigate these threats in the Lower Cache Creek watershed and educate the next generation of wildlife protectors in Yolo County, the Central Valley, California, and beyond. . This World Wildlife Day, pledge to #doonethingtoday that will support wildlife and wildlife conservation. Donate or volunteer with organizations protecting wildlife and the habitats they depend on to survive and thrive. When you give to the Cache Creek Conservancy you make an investment for the future. This investment makes a world of difference for wildlife and this impact is felt far beyond the Lower Cache Creek watershed. Join forces with the Cache Creek Conservancy on #worldwildlifeday to make a local impact to restore impaired habitat and protect Cache Creek wildlife and those who depend on this wildlife sanctuary for generations to come. . #birdvideo #bird #birdsong #blacktaileddeer #cachecreek #california #californiawildlife #californianativeplants #centralvalley #conservation #conservationeducation #creekside #deersighting #nature #naturenow #natureconservation #norcal #plantsarewildlifetoo #plantsarelife #reclaimedcreeks #reclaimedriver #riparianhabitat #sustainability #wildlifeconservation #wildlife #wildlifevideos #yolocounty See more
