Remembering times when life was a tad bit easier... Ladies, our team cannot wait for the chance to all be together again. We miss you all.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve done a lot of cleaning and projects since the world shut down. I’ve organized all the closets and deep cleaned my house more often in the last 6 weeks than I have in a year collectively, and this meme of the guy vacuuming the roof is a little too relatable. If you’ve been to one of our weekend encounters, you’ve seen me in my natural habitat. I’m a DO-er. Last in bed and the first one up, you’ll find me in the kitchen prepping and cooking; ...Continue reading

Worship Pastor Brooke Ross opens up about the very real struggles of maintaining our physical health during this time of quarantine.
FOCUSING ON THE GOOD WORK GOD HAS PREPARED FOR US By Christine Potts We’ve all been to weddings. Everything focuses around the bride. My favorite moment is to watch the groom as he catches the first glimpse of his bride, he’s overcome by her beauty she’s prepared herself specifically and especially for this day....Continue reading
Our worship arts leader, Holly Scroggins shares her heart for keeping worship alive in her new home church during the quarantine and treats us to a snippet of her amazing vocals!
In today’s Coffee with Jesus devotional, Linda Reuter, our Program Director shares how Jesus has gone before her and has her right where he wants her to be in this time of quarantine. Be encouraged!
A word of encouragement from Pastor Susan: Thought I’d share an epiphany I had this morning while reading... John 20:14 tells the story of when Mary Magdeline went to the tomb, and found it empty. The Bible says she immediately began to grieve. ... When she looked inside the tomb, she didn’t see the two angels for what they were-ministering angels, she only saw them as perpetrators or someone who was out to hurt, not help. When she turned around to leave, Jesus was standing right there, but she didn’t recognize Him either. How was it possible after years of walking alongside Him, learning from Him, being loved by Him, and cared by Him,did she miss Him and those He sent to aide her in the moment? Because when we are grieving, frightened, panicked... often times we just can’t see Him. We can’t see the help He provides. We cant see. Our vision and our hearts become foggy. What was real in this story: He was right there and so were those He sent to offer comfort and clarity. The Lord reminded me: through the chaos, the grief, the panic....we need only to open our eyes and our ears and we will see and hear Him. Have a great day. Love, Pastor Susan Cruz
With all the things that we are facing as a society, it has the power to drain us emotionally and spiritually. With that said, a recharge is necessary where we are reminded that it is God our healer, God our redeemer, and God our Savior who brings us strength. We’re so excited that tonight at 7 pm, our own Pastor Brooke will be hosting a night of worship from her home church, Colton First Assembly. What an incredible chance we have to participate right from the comfort o...f our own living room! Hey, maybe even host a watch party and gather your family for an awesome night. You can join in tonight at 7 pm the Colton First Assembly, Facebook page. Stay safe and remember we’re here for you. Susan and the C4C Team Colton First Assembly Prayer Caves
