Good Morning, last night Point Richmond experienced high winds and a lot of rain. The whole marina as well as surrounding homes lost power at about 12:30am and are still without power. PG&E is on site and predicts we will not get power back until tonight, however they are still only assessing so this is a prediction. In the buildings you will notice some power is on. Our generator is on in the Brigantine and Schooner Building, however it does not operate lights. Boaters: It ...is advised that all of our boaters come check on their boats to make sure they are tied down to your satisfaction and that you have no flooding or damage. The docks are without power. Our maintenance staff is on site but is split between working with PG&E and recovering from last night. As of now we do have 1 staff member in the Marina Office to answer questions, the phone line is currently working if you have questions. We hope that everyone is safe with this storm and is able to enjoy their holiday weekend. Happy Thanksgiving.

PG&E Power Outage Update - BYC Marina has power. Currently Brickyard Cove Marina has power. Phase 2 of the outages is estimated to start at noon today (October 9th) and will affect some parts of Contra Costa County and Richmond. The most recent emergency notice that was sent out via Nixel Richmond indicated that the areas that may be affected include May Valley, El Sobrante Hills, Garriage HIll N&S, Greenbriar & GreenridgeHts. Based on all notifications and publications we h...ave received and reviewed, we are not showing up as being in one of the areas that is expected to lose power through the next few days. On the PG&E website you can enter specific addresses to see if a location is expected to be affected. Due to high use, many people are stating that the PG&E website is not available. As an alternative, many news outlets are publishing maps and removing the requirement to subscribe to access content. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our office. If we do not answer, we will return your call as soon as possible.
