These sorts of nominations are always so humbling for us as an organization. We'll see what happens with it, but winning really isn't the point. Happy Kwanzaa!! Boy did Ferchil Ramos know what he was doing when he created the Cafe X Logo shout out to him. In the spirit of Ujamaa, Cooperative Economics, Cafe X was created with a vision for shared, community ownership. Our operating agreement outlines a vision for a Black owned cooperative . That's Us. One of the co-conspirators that truly rolled up his sleeves designed a beautiful logo that is eerily reminiscent of ancient Adnkra symbols of Cooperation, Fortitude, a...nd Time Changes. There are no coincidences in the spiritual realm. As the world shifts to become more collaborative, global, know Cafe X has a stake in the ancient and the new. May this 4th day of Kwanzaa move you, and Us to higher ground.

Cheers! Today is our last day in our space at 7220 El Cajon Blvd. We've got trials, tribulations, and sweet memories here. We've felt the rain and we've grown through it. It's been our honor to serve you. May our new location bring as many good vibes as this one has. We're here from 9:30-3:30.

Team, we've got so much to tell you. Pull up a chair, and let the announcements trickle in over the next few days. First, we will be open TUES-THURSDAY, 9:30-3:30PM, June 16-18 for our Relocation Manifestation Sale. This will be the last time you'll see us in our current space. All of you who've called, texted, and emailed us about wanting to support, WE LOVE YOU. This is that moment to COME THROUGH. Second, in alignment with the above - we are relocating from our beautifu...l location after June 20. The owners of this space decided to sell which means we must transition to new, greener pastures <3 Family, THIS is precisely why we stress the importance of OWNERSHIP and ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION as a core tenant of our operation. We don't see this as a loss. Don't cry for us. What we do ask is that you be our eyes and ears for newer, sicker space for us to incubate and continue our growth. Third, we have two MAJOR announcements to make tomorrow and the days to follow. We have taken the time to go inward as a business and are over the moon about what we've discovered.
