Irrigation Season to end November 2, 2020 Due to what looks like might be a dry winter, BVID tentatively intends to end the 2020 Irrigation Season on Monday, November 2, 2020 (or possibly sooner if rain falls before then) with hope of giving everyone enough time to fill their tanks and ponds over the next two weekends. . The long-range forecast is showing drier than normal conditions through at least December 2020, so the District is shifting its objective toward conservat...ion to ensure we have water for next year’s deliveries. Fortunately, and as we get further into fall, the active growing season is coming to an end and we will continue to see less and less demand for water until the rain begins. However, please be assured that after November 2nd we will continue to monitor the weather and remain ready to restart for a shot or two of water if necessary. Please take the next week or so to fill your tanks, and in the meantime, let’s hope for some rain... and a full reservoir!
