Butterfield Animal Hospital 24.12.2020

Thank you for your patience while our hospital addresses an outbreak of Covid-19 infections in several of our staff members. It is unfortunate, but we felt for the safety of our staff and clients, we must close and quarantine our entire staff for the period between November 18 to November 29. Our office will reopen on November 30th. We are taking multiple steps to ensure that when we open, we can provide a safe experience for our clients, their pets, and our staff. ... The following steps have been taken to provide a safe experience at our facility: 1) The hospital has been closed since November 18th. All surfaces have been cleaned and sanitized. A sanitation service was employed to fumigate the hospital with a disinfectant. 2) All appointments and transactions will be curbside service only. When arriving, text or call the clinic to inform the receptionist that you have arrived. Patients will be received at the front door and taken to our treatment area for an examination. Once examined you will receive a call from the doctor or staff about the findings and the plan for treatment. Clients will not be admitted to the hospital for the foreseeable future. 3) Staff members who contracted Covid-19 are in quarantine and will not be allowed to return to work until they have authorization from their doctor to do so and have been symptom free for a minimum of 10 days. 4) Staff members will be screened for symptoms and receive daily temperature checks. 5) As we adapt to our new protocols, we will have a limited appointment schedule to decrease the concentration of clients around the clinic. We understand that this is a trying time for you and your pets, and once again, we appreciate your patience. The staff and doctors of Butterfield Animal Hospital. See more

This pandemic changed the world for all of us! We implemented new procedures at our clinic such as curbside, social distancing procedures and limited access to our lobby. We would like to give our pet parents a big THANK YOU for their patience and loyalty during these unprecedented difficult times. Your kindness and support not only during this time, but always, is appreciated! We love our clients and their fur babies!!

Online Pharmacies and your pet’s medication: Our #1 priority is ensuring your pet receives safe and effective medication from a trusted source. Moving forward, ...our office will fill prescriptions as noted below. 1. You may purchase the medication directly from our office (we do not carry all products simply because we cannot compete with pricing from outside vendors as well as lack of storage space for the abundance of products available.) 2. You may purchase the medication from our online pharmacy, https://butterfieldvet.vetsfirstchoice.com/ . You can create an account for your pet(s) and request medication just as you would through any other online platform OR our in house pharmacy staff will be glad to do this on your behalf. Bonus!!- Instant rebates, promo codes and PRICE MATCHING on many items (and in some cases, lower prices)! 3. If you wish to purchase through another online pharmacy(third party) or a walk-in pharmacy, we will write you a written prescription that you will pick up from our office and submit to the pharmacy of your choice. Other online pharmacies will not accept a fax or email from the purchaser (you), therefore they will require you to pop that written script into an envelope and snail mail it to them! If choosing to do this, please allow ample time for processing. For your convenience, when we receive your prescription request through another pharmacy, we will create the same prescription in our practice’s own online pharmacy to be delivered directly to you. You will receive an email once we have done this to move forward with the transition and delivery. Our pharmacy is fully accredited, with strict quality and safety standards. We also offer FREE shipping, instant rebates, and AutoShip delivery options all integrated with our practice’s medical records for more visibility into your pet’s treatment and care. To complete your prescription through our online pharmacy, simply click the link below. https://butterfieldvet.vetsfirstchoice.com/ If you wish to continue your purchase from another pharmacy, please call us at 951-303-8260 Frequently Asked Questions Will I get charged for my original order? No! Pharmacies cannot charge you until a prescription has been approved by your veterinarian. I'd prefer to proceed with my original request from a third party pharmacy. What now? Call us at 951-303-8260 so we can prepare an approval. Please note that we cannot guarantee the efficacy or authenticity of products purchased from a third party pharmacy. In accordance with California State Law, we are legally unable to approve or fill a medication for a pet we have not examined within the past year. Thank you for your patience and understanding. If there is anything we can do to ensure a smooth transition, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please be patient Our computer system has decided to join the 2020 crazy train and crash. We currently do not have access to ANYTHING. Due to this unforeseen circumstance we cannot make appointments, we cannot view medical records, we cannot do anything that requires access to a computer. We are not able to provide care to walk ins and we are extremely limited to what we can do. We apologize and understand how frustrating this is to everyone. We have our I.T. team working to resolve this matter as quickly as possible, but as of now we do not have an estimation as to when operations will resume as normal.
