February is American Heart Month!

I have been directing Project SAVE for 15 years now and in all those years I have never put out a public request for supplies until now. The needs of our local... community have definitely surpassed our ability to provide for all of the local requests. We are totally out of wheelchairs, four-wheel walkers, shower benches , shower chairs, transfer poles, home style hospital beds and knee scooters. The agreement we make with people is that we loan them these items and when they are finished using them, they are to return them. Unfortunately this is not happening. We would so appreciate it if any of the health care workers or individuals reading this message reinforce that with your clients. We would be ever so grateful. I have had to turn away seven or eight people today because we did not have the supplies they needed.
