The Reverse Trick-or-Treat event is in full swing and police officers have located dozens of pumpkins since Saturday! We have received many inquiries about this event and thought we'd address a few of the most common questions: You do not have to live in a house to receive a trick-or-treat bag. Police officers are making a point to visit apartment buildings as well.... While it is our intent to visit as many residences as possible, we can do so only when calls for service permit. To supplement our efforts, Community Resource Officers have been out during the business day also looking for pumpkins. Please understand the police officers are doing their very best to stop by as many residences as possible. Many have submitted an address to us. The event is themed more like a scavenger hunt and police officers are looking for pumpkins as they patrol. We created this event to interact with our community in a safe way and provide a fun activity for kids (and adults!) this Halloween. We want this to be fun for everyone and wish we could visit every single person who participates. Please bear with us as we do our very best. Lastly, we want to thank Costco of Burbank for their very generous donation of goodies for our event.
