Holiday Basket Program by the Burbank Coordinating Council: "Every year, the Burbank Coordinating Council provides Holiday Baskets to hundreds of local residents. Although Covid-19 has changed a few things, we want to make it easy for you to participate this year. Go to www.burbankcc.org/letter and see all of the ways you can help. Since we are unable to do food drives, WE NEED YOUR HELP with filling Food Bags for families! Check out the graphics for the items to place in ...each bag, label them and bring them to South Hills Church on 11/14 or 11/21 from 4-6pm (drive-thru drop-off in parking lot, 222 S. Victory Blvd, Burbank). You can fill as many bags as you’d like. Along with your food bags, you may also drop off grocery gift cards or new gifts for families. Our City of Burbank - Government’s Economic Development Department wanted to share this information on No-Cost PPE Supplies for Small Business: https://www.ppeunite.org/ This is a part of LA County’s Safer Return to Work Program, and small businesses with less than 50 employees, located within Los Angeles County, and operating as a sole proprietor, partnerships, LLC, C or S-Corp, or micro-enterprises are eligible. Unfortunately, Non-Profits are not eligible for this particular program. Please feel free to share this link with businesses that qualify and may be interested. Note that PPE supplies are procured in set quantities and are distributed on a limited first come, first serve basis.
