When HearAid Foundation helps a child hear better everyone has big smiles under their masks. Armen also got an ear saver to help make sure he didn’t loose his hearing aids when he took off his mask. Going one step farther to provide great care to kids needing hearing aids.

So thankful that I can partner with HearAid Foundation to help families in need. Looking forward to watching this little one grow up.

I have no fashionista today. I have a story. Last week we tested a 7 week old infant and diagnosed her with a hearing loss in both ears. Within a few days she was in the ENT office to get medically cleared for hearing aids. Today I saw her to get started on the hearing aid process. Yes. She was just 8 weeks old. We checked her insurance and they don’t cover hearing aids. Both her parents are furloughed due to Covid and she is losing her insurance at the end of the ...month. I just couldn’t think about turning away this family because the couldn’t afford hearing aids for their infant and didn’t have insurance to cover them. I referred them to a HearAid Foundation to see if they would cover the hearing aids. We hope they will accept their request. This is what Covid is doing to families. Stable employed couples losing jobs and having trouble with medical expenses for their new baby. My heart breaks. Today we giggled as this baby girl Slept through the earmold impression process. Tomorrow we will fight to find financial help for the family.

Today’s fashionista. When your earmolds, hearing aids and mask all match.

One of our pediatric patients explains why audiologist are essential.

All our patients leave with a bottle of hand sanitizer. Keeping patients safe in the office and when they go home. Happy to be getting back to seeing a full schedule of patients a couple of days a week. Still spreading patient appointments out so we have time to sanitize.

Masks, face shields, gloves, hand sanitizer, disinfectant, UV sanitizer for phones and hearing aids. We are fully prepared to keep our staff and patients healthy.

We recently learned of the passing of one of our patients due to COVID 19. Please stay safe everyone. Stay Home. Wear a mask if you must go out and Wash your hands. RIP Jay

Even our mascot bear is wearing his mask to be safe. He’s waiting for this pandemic to be over so he can make new friends and go home with a new family.

We are closed tentatively until March 31st. At that time we will evaluate if we can safely see urgent needs patients.
