Today’s challenge: How can you invite more self-compassion into your day? There is so much research on the psychological benefits of self-compassion on our overall emotional resiliency. But what does putting self-compassion into action actually look like? Sometime it starts with just being more aware of our daily thoughts and how we speak to ourselves. Is our self talk generally encouraging or critical? Ask yourself, do you believe you will be more productive if you are harder and more critical on yourself? Do you fear that if you are self-compassionate, it will make you lazy or it is just making excuses for yourself? Self-compassion is a skill we can learn. And will actually help motivate you more.

This is beautiful! Helping moms (and dads) validate all the hard work they do!

This is a great idea, to teach mindfulness and meditation in the schools systems to help give students tools to cope with their emotions.
