Buena Park Library District

After several months of being closed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Buena Park Library is now open for limited public access with Grab & Go services. Library patrons can return to the Library for brief visits to browse shelves and check out their favorite books. When you visit the Library, expect things to be a little different. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, maintain social distancing and limit their visit to one hour or less. The Library has limited oc...cupancy of 25 visitors at one time. The staff is excited to reopen and welcome our patrons back to their Library, said Mary McCasland, Library Director. The health and safety of our staff and visitors is our top priority. We have new cleaning procedures in place, plastic shields have been put up at the service desks and we are following recommended health and safety guidelines. The Library will continue to offer curbside pick-up service for our patrons who place items on hold. Other services available include limited computer use, printing, copying, and faxing services, and reference assistance. Unfortunately, there is no seating in study areas, or in-person programs at this time. The Library’s digital collection which includes eBooks, audiobooks, streaming content, homework help databases and more is available from the Library’s website at www.buenaparklibrary.org. Virtual programs such as children’s storytimes, Children’s craft time and adult book clubs are also available online. The exterior bookdrop is open and all returned items are quarantined for 7 business days before being checked in. The Library does not charge fines on overdue items.
