Hello Buddies! I recorded a super fun video this morning, but for some reason it is taking all day to post on Facebook and Instagram So, while we wait, here’s a little glimpse of what I made yesterday for Earth Day! I followed the same recipe I used with my kids last week. I used blue food coloring before putting it in the pot on the stove. Then once it was cooled off, I added a few drops of green and kneaded it til it blended nicely and looked like Mother Earth!

We had so much fun making and playing with our own play dough! Did you know following a recipe together could be an opportunity to learn measurements, sequence, and practice fine motor skills?! We added lavender oil to our dough to make it the perfect sensory activity. Now we have calming beautiful dough to kneed, squish, and roll! ... Our buddies will take their dough home with them for the holidays. Happy Day Before Winter Break!
