From this week’s study of Genesis Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. ~ Genesis 2:7... Questions: How old was man when he was created by God? Why do most of us envision him as full grown from the start? Do we also think of the animals as being mature upon creation? What do you think?

Monday evening, May 11, 2020, our BSF class in San Jose is hosting a sharing night. This has been a BSF tradition for many years, to allow people to share what God has done in their lives during this year’s study of Acts and the Apostles. It is always a moving evening! The meeting will be held via ZOOM, and invitations have been sent out. The sharing will begin 6:30 p,m. (Tonight!). Our main class in San Jose, plus all of the satellites (which includes our groups in Santa Cruz, Morgan Hill, Hollister, Los Gatos and Saratoga) are invited. Hope you can join us!

During my early years in Bible Study Fellowship, my teaching leader said, BSF is a season of preparation for a lifetime of ministry. After 30 years of studying God’s Word through BSF, I can confidently say she was correct. The Lord has used these wonderful studies to guide me as a parent, grow me as a spouse, direct me as friend and equip me as a leader. In this week’s blog post, we read about a former teaching leader from South Carolina who used her BSF training to glorify... God in a new way. I think you’ll be able to relate to her BSF experience. I certainly did. And I was deeply encouraged by her heart to seek Christ in all seasons of life. Check it out here. As we look to the One who perfects our faith, let us also listen as He directs our steps. Let us remember, as Peggy reminds us from Luke 12:48, to whom much is given, much more is required.
