A little surgery couldn't keep her down. Glad to have San San back for training!

So... Being the crazy human I am, thought organizing a 12 hour beat down workout (from midnight to noon) would be the most fitting way to ring in 36 years of life. I cannot express how much I love having other "crazies" in my life willing to jump into these challenges, and how proud I was at how awesome everyone did. We definitely got put through the wringer physically, but it was much welcomed! @ Black's Beach, La Jolla

Pictures and words can't quite express this awesome adventure with amazing people! -- Above all, happy birthday to the amazing @martahynan who turned 60, and thought doing the 3 highest peaks in So. California was the perfect way too celebrate! -- Lots of miles, lot and lots of elevation gain, lots of mood swings , but successful 3 days and 3 summits later, and know it's a trip I won't forget!

Was a fun little bit of accountability during "everything". It's been hard to stay focused, but I feel like I've been able to keep myself honest, and continue to make positive gains. - - On another note, I found it funny checking my results, that numerous people "finished an Ultra" in under 1:30:00. Cool! You all set World records for fastest 30 miles ever ran!
