If you injure your eye, resist the temptation to rub or apply pressure to it. Don’t remove foreign objects that may be lodged in the eye. Immediately use clean water to rinse any oils or chemicals from the eye. Gently apply a loose bandage without creating pressure and seek immediate treatment.
