Thank you all who attended last night’s Planning Commission Meeting. People filled the room and overflowed into the hallways. It was inspiring to see so many residents stand for Brookside! City of Walnut please take note: Over 30 people spoke up in defense of protecting Brookside. Not one person , aside from the developer and his team, spoke in support of the development as it is currently proposed. Thank you for taking the time to learn about the issues at hand. Now... we have to keep up the fight... We will see you again at the continued meeting on February 5th, when the commissioners’ vote will take place!
