Rose Yoga and Healing

I've been apprenticing a local healer in Silverlake; apparently I needn't travel to a remote village in the Himalayas to find one to take me under his wing.. It's been a beautifully intricate and puzzling journey as the lessons are no less than extraordinary though only ordinary. Today, I took away the importance of #heartistic endeavors..to devote a portion of your time to serving an expression solely to serve love and the soul of the heart. The man whom we were observing ea...rlier had a cool temperature surrounding his heart where he underwent a bypass surgery many years ago and the thoracic spine has now curved in such a way to protect it's fragile heart.. though to perpetuate the belief the heart is fragile and needs protection after long can create it's own host of issues which too will need unraveling and resolving. Attuning ourselves to the balance of work and non work, reflection and action, our belief systems and intentions; sometimes as simple as jotting our stream of thoughts for four minutes a day or spending time with your child in no hurry will do you a world of good. #reflections #thinkingoutloud See more

Had no idea...but now I do... iron deficiency is the #1 nutritional deficiency plaguing the planet.. and when I was a well intentioned vegan, I experienced the symptoms of iron deficiency which resulted in severe physical and mental weakness.
