One week left until we launch our new lunch hours and menu at The Allies Pub!

Traditional Hand Pulled Beer Our four beautiful hand pulls are refurbished from old pubs in England and the perfect addition to create an authentic village ...pub here in Chico. These beer engines are used to hand pump the beer from our cellar without the use of pressurized CO2. Our kegs are cask conditioned and maintained at 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The pumping helps to expel any residual CO2 out of the body of the beer and into a frothy head. What is your favorite of our hand pulled beers? pc: Kyle Nelson Photography

Justin and Emma hopped over to the beautiful state of Hawaii for a family wedding and of course had to visit some of the islands best breweries! (1) Ola Brew with their array of beers, ciders, and hard seltzers, they are sure to have a winner for everyone! Our absolute favorite was their vanilla porter. (2) Kauai Island Brewery and Grill we thoroughly enjoyed our time chatting with the brew master (originally from Chico!) and loved their Belgian ale.... (3) Kauai Beer Company had an incredible lager and barley wine ale. Make sure to check these three fantastic breweries out next time you are in the area!

Join us next week for Drink Local Think Global week! Today, an estimated 663 Million People do not have access to clean drinking water and 2,000 children die every day from diseases caused by unclean water. For one week, October 21 - October 27, breweries across the nation are donating a portion of taproom sales to provide clean water to those in need.... British Bulldog Brewery and The Allies Pub are proud to be one of the many breweries participating in this campaign! We will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 2-10pm! The Pub is located at 426 Broadway Suite 130. Access is through the horses heads on 5th Street next to the Bank of America parking lot!

Just over three years ago, Jef Lewis of BrewBilt Manufacturing LLC calculated the sizing for our Mash Tun. He figured we could mash both our light alcohol pub ales and still fit our Russian Imperial in it. Well...yesterday we finally put that theory to the test. Well done Jef!! You’re truly gifted! :D
