With the governor's announcement this morning of California entering Stage 2 of reopening California on Friday May 8th, I've received many inquiries requesting appointments. I felt it important to address my office's re-opening plan, as my services are directly hands-on, and discuss my plans and practices post business closure mandate. I have been closed for 2 months in total isolation to assure my client’s safety and my own. Moving forward, when I prospectively reopen June ...2nd, I have been tested for covid-19 antibodies, I am using operating room sterilizers (I am a certified surgical technician and have access to this) on all surfaces and door handles, running multiple HEPA air purifiers, I am wearing an N-95 mask, and will only be allowing 1 client in my space at a time. These practices have been recommended to me by an infectious disease doctor. Our building has remained open as we have some essential business’s present. Though I am protecting myself and you in every way possible, I ask that if you are intending to come in that you have truly been properly self-quarantined for this time period, and if you do wish to reschedule, please let me know and we will do so for after June 15th, as my schedule is getting rather busy with clients eager to get in after the mandate is lifted. Though this plan of action is very comprehensive, It’s important to understand that even with all precautions, any interaction puts you and myself at some risk. This is also affecting the production of Green Chemistry’s new products, as we work with small farms for ingredient sourcing that have been forced to halt production as they must reduce staff size. All of our ingredients come from small labs and farms in the USA, and our glass packaging comes from Italy, so this naturally postpones production even more. My hope is that it won’t by much time. I truly adore seeing every one of my clients, but I ask if you are at risk or immune compromised, you do not come to see me. My hope is to continue doing the work I love in a responsible manner, but I will discontinue if it’s determined or that I should, whether it’s by legal mandate or my own judgement. I also ask that you do not wait in the waiting room if you are over 10 minutes early. I also ask that if you schedule with me, you have truly been following the CDC quarantine guidelines. There are many conflicting guidelines from news outlets, and this lays out how to be safest most accurately. I am greatly looking forward to practicing again, when the time is appropriate. I hope this has been a time of reflection and healing for everyone, myself included, and that we all look out for each other as best we can. In good health, Brigitte
