The Lapis Lazuli band (7-8 year-olds) have been working on their observation skills and map-making. This week, they started telling stories about zombie kids, kids in space, and pirate principals, based on the wacky stories of the Wayside School books by Louis Sachar. The Citrine Band (8-10 year-olds) have been practicing observation and interacting with wildlife out in Golden Gate Park. And they just got walkie-talkies, so learning how to play games while socially distant and establish effective and good communication strategies have become all the more fun. .
