March 13, 2020 Greetings, FBCC and BBLC family, I pray this letter finds you well. The purpose of this letter is to update and assure you about the response our leadership will take on campus to address the COVID-19 virus. Be assured that as of this time, there have not been any reports of exposure to the virus by anyone who visits our church and/or preschool throughout the week. This response is in a spirit of being vigilant and not in panic.... Beginning this afternoon and continuing through the weekend, FBCC will be sending out announcements that we are CANCELLING our EASTER FEST for 2020. This is in response to the growing public health concerns around the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Sunday morning services and all other gatherings are still on the calendar but are, obviously, subject to change depending on the potential threat. However, should anyone feel that it’s in their best interest to stay home and refrain from corporate worship, our Sunday services are Live Streamed at: fbclovis.com/live. BBLC will stay open and will continue to provide quality child-care and enrichment programs for our families, at this time. This situation continues to be monitored with the needs of our families and safety of our staff and kids in mind. We are asking our FBCC and BBLC families to follow the CDC guidelines: Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces. Stay home when you are sick. Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds. Additionally, we have: Enhanced the cleaning of our buildings, particularly the in the children’s buildings, and the door handles and light switches throughout the church. Asked hospitality staff to wash before and after greeting and to refrain from shaking hands and to practice social distancing. We continue to monitor Federal, State, and County health officials and will respond to any new situation as it arises. For now, we encourage everyone to continue to practice safe hygiene habits and limit the chance of exposure. My hope (on top of wanting all illnesses to be cured) is that you can be confident that we are on top of trying to keep FBCC clean and safe for everyone and are always trying to stay educated and aware of what is happening in the world. Miss Kelli receiving the William F Noli Award from Fresno Regional Schools!! This award is given to people who work to support the ROP/CTE programs in the high schools. There are 22 school districts and 3 counties represented and the top 5 are chosen. We are very honored to receive this prestigious award!!

BBLC is mourning the loss of our friend Officer Dan. We are also praying for his wife and girls as they deal with this terrible loss!!
