If you are a pet parent, you should know that the California Veterinary Medical Board just published guidelines making it harder instead of easier for veterinarians to use telemedicine. #telemedicine is a vital tool that will save lives during the pandemic. It allows us to provide needed care and protect the health of the public by staying at home. If telemedicine is good enough for our grandparents, our children, and ourselves, shouldn't it be good enough for our pets?... We need to add voices, and this petition will help. I am hearing that families are dropping their pet off for euthanasia because they don’t know they have other options... this is absolutely heartbreaking and I can’t even imagine... We are working to spread the word that there is a better and safe way to say goodbye

Dr. Scott was given this thoughtful gift following an at-home euthanasia. At a time when "the little things" mean more than ever, this kind gesture made our hearts full. We hear so much about scarcity these days that we wanted to share that other people's generosity - even when delivered in the simplest of ways - is not fading .
