Easter is just two weeks away! We're so excited to celebrate Easter with you on our Online and Ashlan Campus at 9 & 11AM.

We are not all-knowing, all-powerful, or all-present. When we try to take on the responsibilities of the whole world that we can't possibly bear we end up with anxiety that only grows. A great reminder this week that it's not your responsibility to fix the entire world. It is your responsibility to be faithful with what you have, where you are, and who you are.

Jesus replaces fear with security. Jesus replaces hate with love. Jesus replaces conspiracies with stability and assurance. Jesus is king.... Jesus is on the throne. Jesus only. Jesus always. Our hope isn’t in politics, policies, or systems our hope is squarely in Jesus. If you’re a Democrat, I love you. If you’re a Republican, I love you. If you’re an Independent, I love you. If you were ashamed today, I love you. If you felt today was justified, I love you. Even if you don’t love Jesus, I still love you. Jesus only. Jesus always. Jesus please heal our nation by starting in each of our hearts. As those around us try to separate, bring a spirit of unity.

Communion has always been one of the most unifying things we can do as believers because it's a reminder of the sacrifice Jesus made on all our behalf. We want to start this new year together in unity with Communion this Sunday. So get some bread and some juice so we can celebrate Communion together this Sunday, online at 10AM

God is always doing something new, let's pray we pay enough attention to see it! "Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert."

We all know this isn't the way things are supposed to be. But what is the way it should be? And what do we do to make things right? We can help. On Election Day in 2020 we need this reminder. Pray, then consider, and vote accordingly, but let's not put our hopes in earthly kingdoms and powers because our hope is so much greater. No matter who is president, Jesus is King. No matter who is in Congress, Jesus is King. No matter what, Jesus is King, and his Kingdom is Greater.

Sunday, November 8, we'll have dinner at 5 PM, then at 6 we'll celebrate, worship, and dream about the amazing things to come in the year(s) ahead!

It's easy to feel stuck to what people expect or don't expect of us, but Jesus reminds us that he is greater and he defines who we are.

So much has happened this past year. We've faced some significant obstacles, and seen God do some incredible things since this time last year, and we want to celebrate that. Every year we take a night to celebrate the past year and anticipate what God willl do in the coming years at an event we call Vision Night. This is our favorite night of the year and we've got some exciting announcements for 2021 you don't want to miss. So join us here on campus for Vision Night 2020 on November 8 for dinner at 5PM and our celebration starting at 6.
