The following article from the June 29, 2011 of the The New England Journal of Medicine reports about the treatment of children who had developed prolonged complications from Covid-19. Such a malfunction of the immune system is expected from all systemic viral infections. The incidence of complications from the mRNA Covid 19 vaccine is much lower because the person is only exposed to one component of the virus on its capsule. If you read Daniel Kahneman’s book, Thinking Fast and Slow, you’d realize that the reason that many parents are holding off on vaccinating their teenagers is because it resonates with their intuitive brain, and not necessarily their rational brains. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2102968

Did you, like I, wonder for a long time what predisposes women to develop endometriosis? Based on Linda Griffith's, the MIT researcher, findings it is a woman's gut microbiome in the majority of the cases. Endometriosis inflicts one in tem women in the U.S. What cultivates a healthy gut microbiome is 1. avoiding processed sugar, emulsifiers, and preservatives 2. Having foods that naturally contain probiotics, such as kefir, brines, and koji 3. having some legumes and vegetab...lesat least a few times a week In short, try to eat the way that our ancestors ate in the caves and villages https://www.npr.org//unlocking-the-mysteries-of-endometrio

Swellings at the sites of prior fillers after Covid-19 vaccination A small percentage of patients, who have had sugar-based (hyaluronic acid) fillers injected weeks or months before Covid-19 vaccination, develop marked swelling at the site of the fillers shortly after their vaccinations. Dr. Girish Munavalli reported in the April 1, 2021 Journal of American Academy of Dermatology about speedy resolution of such swellings over a few hours after taking low-dose lisinopril 5 mg ...daily. Currently it is recommended to take the medication for a few days. Lisinopril is an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor that is prescribed to lower blood pressure. Apparently, people with inflammation (gathering of active immune system cells) have a higher level of angiotensin converting enzyme on their cell surfaces in the area of inflammation. A small percentage of people who have had fillers injected harbor a higher level of angiotensin converting enzyme on the cells around the filler substance, which leads to marked further immune system activity after the Covid-19 vaccination. This article further gave me insight as to why some people become long haulers or develop severe multi-organ disease after exposure to Covid-19 virus. Inflammation induces higher expression of angiotensin converting enzyme on the cell surfaces of the immune cells and the involved tissue, and somehow the virus or the vaccine result in much greater immune response at such sites. Prior inflammation is one key factor. https://www.jaadcasereports.org//S2352-5126(21)00/fulltext

I read the 2-20-21 WSJ book review on Jeff Immelt, the x-CEO of GE to learn from mistakes. He had studied math at Dartmouth, and had gone to Harvard Business school. He worked at GE for years before he became the CEO. GE sustained major losses over his tenure. He now teaches in a business school. Highlights: There is no playbook for success. When you have a tailwind, don’t get arrogant; and when you have a headwind, don’t give up.

# COVID vaccine symptoms Refrain from taking aspirin, Advil, Motrin, ibuprofen, and the like if you developed flu-like symptoms, such as fatigue, muscle and joint aches, after being vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna vaccines against COVID-19. Manifesting the flu-like symptoms is an essential part of the immune system training. Taking ibuprofen-like medicines to relieve the soreness at the site of vaccination or the flu-like symptoms would hinder the efficacy of the vaccines.... Taking Tylenol (acetaminophen) would be ok, but I would not recommend taking more than 1,500 mg of it for an adult over twenty four hours . Try to manage the flu-like symptoms that follow the vaccination with hugs and kisses. The scientists at Pfizer and Moderna are too nerdy to make such effective treatments. Jack H. In the following video, Dr. Sharona Dayan, who is a Harvard-trained periodontist explains how crucially important nose-breathing is for our dental and gum health. According to her, nose-breathing preserves the various protective effects of saliva. I note that I become a mouth-breather when I put on a mask. What she has shared has been immensely helpful for me. I appreciate how much cleaner my teeth are ever since that I have made a conscious effort to primarily nose-breath even when I play volleyball. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBW7RHrAQsg

Treatment of Eczema (Atopic Dermatitis) On the September 15, 2020 UCLA Dermatology Grand Rounds, Dr. Robert Modlin presented a study about successful treatment of eczema by applying a bacteria with a fatty cell wall, i.e. Gram negative bacteria , Roseomonas Mucosa. It has been noted that children with eczema had a higher level of staphylococcus aureus, which is a bacteria with sugary cell wall, i.e. Gram positive bacteria on their skin. Eczema usually manifests on the front o...f the elbows, behind the knees, and neck, where the scientists had noted were colonized in healthy people with Roseomonas mucosa. Rubbing Roseomonas mucosa on the eczema plaque showed marked improvement of the eczema plaques. Separately, Dr. Richard Galo has shown that colonizing the skin of patients with atopic dermatitis with coagulase negative staphylococcus bacteria, as a competitor of Staphylococcus aureus resulted in improvement of eczema. Oxybenzone is an active ingredient in many commonly used sunscreens. After it was introduced in the market, it was noted that it has estrogen-like effects and it is absorbed inside the human body. Once a product has been introduced in the market, it cannot be taken off the market unless it is proven to be harmful. But, to prove that is harmful, we must do experiments on people and study the effects, one group would get placebo, and one group oxybenzone to apply on the skin. Internal Review Boards would not approve such a study because it would be considered unethical. I would avoid such sunscreens. Zinc containing sunscreens are considered safe to use, and they re supplied tinted as well. Jack H. Silvers, M.D.

The following YouTube link contains dialogues between medical doctors who are involved in mind gut health research. I think that many people would benefit from listening to them. Unfortunately, sometimes they use medical words, but you have Google to translate the terms for you, and if not ask me. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3MdJGOG4RHdn7CPXRFr1fQ
