We hope you and your loved ones have been staying healthy and safe during this time! We are well into the 4th month of our reopening and we are happy to say things have been going very well with our new safety measures. Understandably, due to these measures we have had to reduce our capacity to see patients by about 50% but we are steadily scheduling patients and taking care of them. Thank you for you patience as we continue to reach out to you all to schedule your appointments. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT NEW PATIENTS AT THIS TIME. WE ARE FOCUSING OUR EFFORTS ON TAKING CARE OF OUR EXISTING PATIENTS FIRST AND FOREMOST. We will keep everyone updated when we are able to accept new patients in the future. Thank you for your continued trust and patience with us!

Happy Friday to everyone! We hope you all have been staying healthy and safe. We are into week 4 of our reopening and we are happy to say that all of our safety measures have been extremely effective in establishing a safe environment for our patients and the Cornerstone Dental team. If you have been in to see us I'm sure that you have seen our strict adherence to the CDC guidelines for personal protective equipment! N95 masks, goggles, face shields, head and neck covers, ...isolation gowns, double gloves...whew! More importantly, we have ensured that our office air quality is pristine! Every exam room is outfitted with heavy duty air purifiers with true HEPA filters and UVC lights. Our HVAC system takes in the office air and filters it through a NASA-developed filtration system with UVC lamps which exhausts ionized air back into the office which further cleans the air and surroundings. As a final measure of air quality safety, we use an ultra-low volume cold fogger to decontaminate the air using hypochlorous acid which is made using water and salt making it 100% safe for humans. With all of this said, you will not find an indoor environment that is safer and cleaner than our office. Thank you for your continued support and trust in us. We are SO blessed and honored to serve all of you. -Dr. Bae and the Cornerstone Dental Care Team.

Dear Cornerstone patients, As this COVID-19 situation evolves we are receiving more information and updated guidance from our national and state governments, the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the California Dental Association (CDA), and other key organizations that we are mandated to and/or strongly urged to follow. To our dear patients of Cornerstone Dental Care, We are writing to you to review the measures that we have taken to ensure both your and our safety during these unpredictable and trying times as we come to grips with the implications of the coronavirus. Please review the following measures that we strictly follow: 1. Our entire staff has been extensively trained in the Universal Precaution protocols as outlined by the US Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health ...Administration (OSHA). a. Universal precautions is an approach to infection control to treat all human blood and certain human body fluids (including saliva in dental procedures) as if they were known to be infectious for HIV, HBV and other bloodborne pathogens. b. We use gloves, masks, and gowns to prevent any exposure to such body fluids. Gloves and masks are always changed between patients. c. Hand-washing and use of hospital-grade antiseptic hand sanitizers are always performed between patients. 2. We use engineering and work practice controls to limit exposure by strictly adhering to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) protocols. i. A surface disinfectant (Certol ProSpray) is always used in between patients to wipe down all surfaces that may come in contact with patients. This disinfectant will inactivate all viruses, is tuberculocidal, and kills all bacteria. ii. All of our instruments are sterilized via a high pressure, high heat and steam M11 Autoclave sterilizer. This sterilizer is also tested and monitored professionally on a weekly basis. 3. Our facilities are maintained by a professional health care facility maintenance company that is trained to use healthcare-appropriate cleaning agents and products to ensure the most sanitary environment. 4. All staff members that are ill are required to stay home until completely recovered. As our patient, if you are experiencing symptoms of acute respiratory illness, fever, or other symptoms that are consistent with the flu then we ask that you stay home until you have completely recovered. If you already have an appointment scheduled and need to cancel it then please notify us by phone (714-256-9400) as soon as possible! We sincerely hope that all of you will be able to avoid any illness and will stay healthy as we all weather this storm together. Please exercise all personal safety precautions and educate yourself about the coronavirus by visiting the CDC website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/index.html. We are so thankful for all of you and we are honored to be your dental care providers. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns and we will be happy to address them. Sincerely, Cornerstone Dental Care

Hello everyone! Even though we are not open to take care of your routine dental care we want to encourage everyone to take this extra time that you may have staying at home to spend a little more time taking care of your oral health. Remember, oral and overall health are connected! Your mouth helps you to eat, drink, talk and smile, but health conditions like diabetes, heart or kidney disease, and many more can all affect our oral health. And individuals with those health con...ditions, plus older adults and those with weakened immune systems, are at higher risk for contracting the coronavirus. Help keep your smile healthy and reduce your risk of the coronavirus with a good home health routine. Brush your teeth twice a day for two minutes each time with a fluoridated toothpaste. Floss once a day. Use mouthwash once or twice a day. Eat a balanced diet. Exerciseeven quick walks around your neighborhood or home have great benefits. Wash your hands often, especially before eating or brushing your teeth. You should wash with soap and water for at least 20 seconds each time We hope that everyone is staying healthy and safe and abiding with the guidelines to help "flatten the curve! Thank you for your patience as we continue to stay closed while closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation to plan for our re-opening.
