To better secure student Google accounts, the district will be updating the student’s Google passwords today, Thursday, September 3rd, between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. During this time the ability to access Google will be interrupted. Once the change has occurred, parents/guardians should log on to the Aeries parent portal to get the new Google password for their student or students. If you need help logging on or finding the password, a guide has been posted on the district webs...ite : HERE If you are unable to log in to the parent portal please reach out to your student’s teacher first for assistance. The office can also assist you. We ask you to please try parent portal first and then your student’s teacher next, as these will be the fastest methods before calling the school’s office. We understand this may cause some disruptions, so tomorrow will be a lighter instructional day with the focus on ensuring all the students get the new passwords and get logged back in. We apologize for the inconvenience of this switch, but it is needed to improve students safety and security moving forward.

PARENTS- Have you logged into you Aeries Parent Portal yet to look at your child's grades, contacts information, Google account information, etc.? You can do so here with the email address you provided: https://murocjusd.asp.aeries.net/ If you aren't sure what the email address used is, please contact your school office. If you forgot your password, simply walk through the "Forgot Password" reset button on the login page. Thank you!

If your student needs a little math help this school year, "Do the Math" has you covered. The call-in math TV program and FREE math tutoring program will return... for its 19th season on Sept. 15. Math tutors will be standing by from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm every Tuesday and Wednesday. Call 636-4357 or 1-866-636-6284. The show airs live Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4 pm to 5 pm and can be seen in Bakersfield on Spectrum Cable Ch. 15, in California City, Boron and Mojave on Ch. 19, and in Rosamond on Ch. 180. The 412 MSG is hosting a "Back to School" Virtual Town Hall on the reopening plans for the base schools this Thursday, 06 Aug, from 1300 - 1430. Mr. Kevin Cordes, Muroc District Superintendent, will be available to discuss the plans and take your questions.

With our school year ending on June 4th, our school’s office hours are being extended to Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8-1pm starting next week. This will allow for the return of Chromebooks, textbooks and musical instruments. If you have other items such as library books please don’t feel like you need to make a special trip out to the school. You are welcome hold onto library books until the start of the school year. Also, if you’re not leaving the school, we are asking t...hat you please wait to collect your student belongings...unless they are absolutely necessary. Please rest assured that any items left in their desk will be waiting for them-on their desk in their new teacher’s classroom at the start of next school year.
