I'm going to take a different look at this quote. Add... "And that's okay." to the end. Don't let FOMO take you off focus, or out of your lane. It's really important right now that we don't get distracted by the wonderful, heart-tugging, crazy-making, or click baiting stuff going on in the world. Today I talked to a client about simplicity in their website. We need to focus on speaking in the website visitor's language, and clearly expressing that we understand what their pain point is, and that we have the solution they are looking for. Too often I see websites that scream, "Look at me - this is who I am and what I have to offer." Which is exactly the WRONG message to send. Once you have perked up their ears, captured their interest, and piqued their HOPE button t...hat the solution they've been looking for might be right here... Then they will naturally want to know who you are and what you have to offer. Don't overwhelm them with a confusing array of choices either. Once they feel you may have their solution, CLEARLY let them know what the next step is. Or give them a clear choice of 2-3 directions. Happy website designing! ;-)
