Attention Parents, Guardians, Alumni, & Friends Earlier this year the federal government made funds available to provide relief from the coronavirus pandemic. If you didn't get your Economic Impact Payment already this year there is still time. Dial 211 on your phone to talk to someone who can help you receive: $1200 per eligible adult, $2400 per married couple, and $500 per eligible minor. People who may have missed out earlier include anyone who did not file taxes in 2018 or 2019 or a few other reasons. It doesn't hurt to check if you are unsure!

Thanks SchlickArt and Sonja Gilhuys for partnering with Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley and creating an opportunity for local families to participate in Social Distanced School Portraits. It is so important to hold on to any bit of normalcy this year, and school photos is an easy way to do it! Sonja will capture a moment of joy that you and your family can look back at for years to come. To have your kids’ photo taken, SchlickArt is asking for a minimum donation of $30, all of which is being donated directly to the Club. See the attached post for further details, or contact [email protected] directly to book your session!
It's notes like this that keep us going during these tough times. Stay strong. Stay positive. Remember, if you're feeling down, the best way to lift your mood is by doing something kind for others.
