In response to member inquiries... The Mountain Communities Boys and Girls Clubs are open today (10/24/2019) and will remain open unless the Waterman Canyon fire conditions change. All four Club sites at VOE, IAC, LAE, and CHE are open during regular business hours and plan to remain open throughout the day. The Waterman Canyon fire is far enough away from all of our Club sites to NOT be considered a threat at this time. ... The Boys and Girls Club is here to serve the needs of families on the mountain. The SCE planned potential electrical outages that MAY occur (if deemed necessary for wind conditions) are not going to affect our ability to remain open. We have remained open during all outages this year. If phone service is interrupted, please contact the Unit Directors by cell phone if you need to call the Club, or the Executive Director at (909) 997-0692 with any questions you may have about our services today. It is our pleasure to serve the families and children of the Mountain Communities.
