Today, the State of California Supreme Court made a significant announcement that many in the state have been waiting years for! The pass score has been reduced for the bar exam. In addition, they have announced the bar exam has been postponed, and is now scheduled for October 5 and 6. Lastly, the announcement included Temporary Provisional Licensure to 2020 graduates until June 1, 2022 (more details and rules to follow). See the official notice below.

Today the US SUPREME COURT made a landmark decision regarding sexual orientation and gender identity in relation to their rights in employment. Today’s decision makes it illegal for an employer to terminate an employee due to sexual orientation or gender identity.

Although this may not be your normal Memorial Day, remember to take the time to honor and remember those who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Our offices will be open tomorrow during regular business hours to serve you. Enjoy the day and celebrate safely and responsibly.
