The Nevada County Relief Fund (NCRF) has approved a micro-grant of $2,500.00 to help Bowenwork For Health and Wellness cover some of its key expenses incurred due to the COVID-19 regional stay-at-home order. We are proud to support small businesses like yours, which have been hard-hit by the pandemic and are so vital to our quality of life in Nevada County. Agreement: This award is subject to the agreement included in your grant application, which includes the following terms: intention to continue business operations post-pandemic; use of grant funds for only business continuation purposes; and good standing with Nevada County and its municipalities. By accepting this grant award, you certify that your business has complied and will continue to comply with any and all state and local COVID-19 public health regulations and guidelines. Non-compliance will result in the rescinding of your award. A check will arrive in the mail within approximately two weeks to the mailing address provided in your application. Though that darn Corona virus has us shutdown, that doesn't mean that the amazing healing powers of Bowen therapy are also on hold. While out on the trail this morning I started to get left knee pain medially. So what do I do? Pull over to the side pull up the pants and do a quick knee procedure. Boom! Back on the trail with no pain at all.

So a client of mine who had a mild case of the Corona virus ended up getting a CT scan that was scheduled for something else. During that scan they located blood clots on her lungs as residual effect from this lovely bug. If she wouldn't have had that scan scheduled she never would have known and she probably would die from a blood clot. So now she has to be on blood thinners for the rest of her life and can't even walk upstairs for 3 months and has a preexisting condition forever. Swallow that anti maskers.

Roca just had her session and is so relaxed that she is resting before the long trip back to Placerville.

Missing a leg has its own challenges. He has to work very hard to adapt his climbing skills so that he will not fall out of a tree. He needs his spine realigned or he will end up with really bad scoliosis over time. Bowen therapy sessions are so relaxing that he has fallen asleep mid session.
