Bonita FD E38, in conjunction with Strike Team 6441A, continues to work at the Creek Fire near Shaver Lake outside Fresno. Crews have been deployed there since September 10th. Stay safe!

This location will serve as an official Mail Ballot Drop-Off location for the 2020 Presidential General Election from Tuesday October 6th through Tuesday November 3rd. Your signed, sealed and dated mail ballot envelope can be dropped off during the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. On Election Day, Tuesday November 3, hours for dropping off mail ballots will be 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Questions regarding the Mail Ballot Drop-Off program should be directed to the County of San Diego Registrar of Voters (858)565-5800.

Bonita E38 continues to provide support on the Creek Fire, north east of Fresno, with Strike Team 6441A.

Bonita E38, along with Strike Team 6441A, have been released from the Valley Fire in San Diego County and reassigned to the Creek Fire north east of Fresno. Bonita FD has had personnel on strike teams, assisting throughout California, nearly every day since August 1st.

Bonita FD Engine 38 has been on the Valley Fire since Saturday while attached to Strike Team 6441A. Stay safe!

Created in 1987, our dispatch center provides services for the citizens of Bonita, Alpine, El Cajon, Lakeside, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Santee, San Miguel, Viejas, Barona, Campo and Sycuan. They average nearly 60,000 calls annually, with 225 in the last 24-hours alone. They are an integral part of the emergency response team. Strong work Heartland!
