Good Morning Everyone, We hope we haven't inundated you with too many updates, but we've been trying our best to keep everyone abreast of our situation and what hours, products and services we are offering during all of this. We feel we've had such a loyal and supportive following over the years and have, therefore, tried to be as transparent as possible about any changes we make to operations be it hours, menu changes, or other operations. That being said, we felt it was ...important to share our current status... About 2 weeks ago we were notified by our property managers that our lease was up at the end of this month. This was an oversight by both parties as normally we'd have this conversation 6 months in advance. We carried 2 5-year options, but in light of where things were headed with Covid, I didn't feel it was prudent to exercise the option right now, not knowing how long or deep this lockdown would impact us or our customers. It is our sincere hope and belief that we will work out a new lease arrangements in the coming weeks and re-open when restrictions have been lifted and we can resume our traditional service. However, we don't control that ourselves, so we have moved forward with our schedule these last few days with the intent on liquidating as many food and beverage items as possible. Today, is our final day for to-go FOOD and we will fill growlers and selling merchandise, bottled wine/cider/beer to go as well. We will be open 12-6p. Monday + Tuesday we will be open from 12-2pm to fill final growlers as well as merch/bottles to go. Wednesday we will turn off the lights and close the doors until we can reach a deal on a new lease and get past this "lockdown". The last time I sat down and had a beer on a Saturday night in here that we weren’t open was as we were building this place out over 8.5 years ago. It’s a surreal feeling. It’s definitely a time of reflection as well as looking forward. As frustrating as it is for all small business owners and workers and as concerned as we are for everyone’s health I just wanted to send out our gratitude to our community. Whenever you start a new venture you envision what you want it to... be. Boneshaker and the people who have supported from day 1 have greatly exceeded everything we hoped for. At the end of the month we will go on hiatus as this thing works itself out, but we are incredibly grateful for the folks who have been ordering food to-go and filling their growlers and buying bottles of wine etc and who have been incredibly generous with our staff. It means a lot and is always a reminder of why it was important for us, more than the beer or the food, that building a place for community to grow was our ultimate goal.
