3:00 p.m. on 11/12 Update: this missing person has been found and safely returned to his family. ###### Have you seen this missing person?... Joshua Brinkerhoff II (dob 10-14-04) was last seen on 11-09-20 at approximately 11:00 p.m. in his bedroom in the 8800 block of Sierra College Blvd. On the morning of 11-10-20, Joshua's Mom noticed that he was no longer at home. It is unknown where Joshua could be headed. He does not have a cell phone nor money. He is a student at a local High School. He does have family in Utah, however it is unknown where he could be headed. He left with a guitar case, unknown clothing description. He is 6’02 140lbs, Brown hair, and Blue eyes. On Monday afternoon at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Placer County Sheriff’s Office received reports of numerous shots fired in the area of Applegate and Rigby R...oads, in Weimar. One of the shots entered a residence and fortunately did not strike anyone. Two males were seen taking off from the scene in a 2016 or newer dark blue Subaru WRX or STI. The vehicle has aftermarket chrome wheels and a rear spoiler. Detectives are now searching for the vehicle and the two suspects; they are believed to be in their mid-20s; one male is described to be white, and the second is described to be Asian. If you have any information on the suspects, vehicle, or the incident, please call Detective Mattison immediately: (530) 889-7849.

So we saw this post from Friends of Wheatland yesterday about one of our officers writing tickets just over 55 mph on the stretch of SR-65, north of Wise Rd. In...teresting to find out that everyone that was stopped was driving more than 20 mph over that posted speed limit. (That area has had several major injury and fatal traffic collisions, due to speed). Incident update: 10:50 a.m. At 7:43 a.m. RPD received several 911 calls reporting a shooting. Officers responded to a hotel in the 1900 block of Freedom Way. On...e victim was located and pronounced deceased at the scene. The suspect in the shooting fled the scene and is still outstanding. The motivation behind the incident is unknown and a part of the ongoing investigation. There’s no ongoing threat to the neighborhood and the scene is safe. RPD Investigations will be on-scene for the next several hours. The hotel and the surrounding businesses remain open. ##### Roseville Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred just before 8:00 a.m. at a hotel in the 1900 block of Freedom Way. This remains an ongoing investigation as the suspect is still outstanding. More information will be released when it becomes available. Please avoid the area.
