Update Hello friends, Thank you so much for all of your continued patronage and friendship. I hope this email finds you and your families healthy and safe in these very difficult times. ... Safety is, of course, always my number one priority. As you know, there has been a recent spike in Covid-19 cases here in San Diego, causing the state to issue new guidelines and shutter indoor businesses again. Even though there has not been a direct order to close salons at this point, in anticipation of that order and in an abundance of caution, I will be temporarily closing down again in order to closely monitor the situation. Due to the intimate nature of my profession and the number of people that I see in a closed space, I feel that it is in the best interest of all of my clients to take these precautions to protect your health and well being. I will still be offering hair color delivery- please contact me through text for the fastest response, as emails sometimes get lost in the shuffle. I am also still available for all of your real estate needs, including buying, selling, and property management. I sincerely hope that this situation is brought under control quickly- I know this has been extraordinarily hard on each and every one of you, and your families. Thank you so much for sticking with me. I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Just a reminder that I am also a Realtor! Hi Everyone, I hope you and your loved ones are all healthy and safe at home, and have adequate amounts of toilet paper ;)... My family and I are doing well, and we are taking this time at home to catch up on projects, adjust to the new circumstances, and enjoy each others company. I just wanted to remind everyone that I am also a Realtor at Home Smart Realty West in Carlsbad- so even though I am not able to work doing hair right now, Realtors are considered "Essential" and I AM actively working from home doing home buying, selling and property management. Referrals are ALWAYS appreciated, especially in times such as these! Please feel free to share my information with your friends and family. Lots is changing in the real estate world due to our current situation, but with todays technology we are adapting quite easily through virtual showings and electronic signatures. The California Association of Realtors has also implemented guidelines to safeguard you and your home when in person activities such as appraisals and inspections are necessary. There is even a Corona Virus addendum to protect both buyers and sellers during the transaction. Most importantly, there is still a lot of opportunity for both buyers and sellers. Rates are still low, and lenders are still lending. The entire industry is quickly adapting to our new normal. Lucky for us, we live in one of the most desirable destinations in America and our housing market is traditionally very resilient. The San Diego Association of Realtors has put together a resource page to help keep us all up to date. Here is the link: https://www.sdar.com/landing/real-estate-connection.html If I can assist you, your family or your friends in any way or if you have any questions that I can answer please call or text me at (760) 583-5158 or email me at [email protected] Stay safe, and I hope to see you all soon! Tips to get through I can't believe it has only been a few weeks, it feels like an entire year has passed since we've seen each other! I know it’s tempting to DIY your own hair, but I strongly advise against it- there is a reason that hairstylists have a license, after all!... I NEVER recommend box color -it has metallic salts that ruin your hair, make it rough and dull, and cause terrible chemical reactions with bleach. Easier said than done, but try to hang in there and embrace your natural beauty while we are all in quarantine. In the mean time, before you cut crisis bangs, here’s 10 tips/ do's and don'ts in case you can’t stand it anymore: 1. Baby powder camouflages dark roots on blondes. 2. Use hair mascara at your part and hairline to camouflage gray roots. Eyeshadow or bronzer will work in a pinch. 3. (For short hair) Clean up your neckline with a shaving razor and around your ears with small scissors or a trimmer 4. Google some easy updo videos and wear your hair up or in braids, it will camo the your roots- it’s a great time to practice at home 5. Don’t do a straight part. Use a rat tail comb or a pencil to draw a zig zag or a deep angled part on your scalp (think a pie shape from either temple to the top point of your head- these deep angles hide regrowth) 6. Tease your roots to add volume- this helps hide your regrowth. Embrace your inner Dolly Pardon. 7. Straight Peroxide will turn brunettes orange and blondes yellow. Period. Sun-in destroys your hair. A hard no. Same with lemon juice, it will dry out your hair. 8. Henna will also destroy your hair by making it rough and it has bad reactions with other chemicals once we all get back on track. And, it usually goes way darker than you want. Also, once you go black you can’t go back. Sorry. 9. Hats and scarves are the fastest and easiest way to hide your regrowth 10. And, for the love of all that is holy please don’t try to bleach your hair yourself- I’m good, but there are some things that I just can’t fix! You got this. See you soon!
