BodyROK is full of announcements Lately...a fun, happy one comin’ your way right here!! We are SO lucky this girl moved back up to her roots here in Petaluma!! We are incredibly lucky to have her join our team. Help me welcome Miss Kasey Johnson to BodyROK Petaluma!! Some fun facts to get to know Kasey: - She’s a Petaluma native and just moved back home with her husband and new dog Larry from SF (Trojan or Gaucho though, Kasey?! Ask her the story!)... - 90’s throwbacks are my jam (watch out for her famous throwback Thursday classes!) - Rosé all day (I mean duh, right?!) - She will celebrate 5 years of teaching at BodyROK in 2021! (She was who I took my very first bodyrok class withshe made my legs sore for a week!!) - Lifelong animal lover. She always stops to pet ALL of the dogs. She has a new dog named Larry (he’s so yummy!) - Passionate about health & wellness - She appreciates that everybody & every body is different. If I can do it, you can do it and we can all move together! -Kasey (Don’t let that cute smile fool you, she will make those abs shake!) - Classes are combination of challenging & playful. It’s suppose to be fun! Before I share our news, and I promise, it’s coming TODAY, I wanted to share this photo and a little story. Let’s flash way back to August 2020. Our studio had been open 2.5 weeks since March, and things were just OK. It wasn’t busy, but it would have been enough to pay the bills and make it through to the other side. And then, we got the huge blow that we needed to once again shut our doors. We didn’t know how long, but I was right to guess it would be too long to recover.(W...e have yet to open again since this day). I was devastated. I had been putting on a brave face and remain optimistic, but this news crushed me. I threw on my running shoes and ran to the studio. I laid on the floor and I sobbed. Like the loud kind of sob.
