As Super Bowl weekend approaches . . .

Did a great virtual session on the Laws They Are a Changin' with Jon Howe, Esq. of Howe & Hutton, Chicago, IL for the MPI Carolinas Chapter. We are doing a series of presentations through the MPI Independent and Small Business Advisory Board to MPI Chapters and offer them free of charge to the chapters during the pandemic so long as they are virtual. Two addition chapter sessions will be held in February and March. Also next week is a session for the MPI Pittsburgh Chapter on Human Trafficking Awareness.

Reflecting on 2020 brings prayers for those who passed, including those who died from Covid-19, thanks for the internal strength that keeps us moving forward despite seemingly unsurmountable obstacles and to hope that the vaccines allow us to get back to the business of business and bring this country back together without the rancor, hate, racism and anything else hindering us from healing as a country. A special thanks to all those who had accessible funds (like Dolly Parton who donated $1 Million to Vanderbilt for the Moderna (Astra Zeneca) vaccine and others, including celebrities who donated time and money to help those in need. Helping hands, not hate.
