#tbt to Fall just 4 years ago spent in Portugal. To say I miss it would be an understatement. With BOAVIDA (and another café in SF that I previously opened), I’ve tried to bring a little piece of my heart to here. It’s helps, but it’s not the same. ... I miss the freshly baked bread from the bakeries each morning. I miss the endless walks on the ocean. I miss the 10 espressos a day. I miss the old charming buildings. I miss being surrounded by Portuguese. #saudades Anyone else especially feeling this lately?

Reminiscing about one of my old favorite cafes on the beach in Estoril, Portugal. It’s been boarded up for years, but is always special in my heart. Many places in SF seem to be closing and being boarded up. Support your local favorite place!
