Dawn Lyons visited our chapter this morning via zoom and wanted to let everyone know that we are here to help. If anyone needs any support a place to stay, any... supplies please reach out we also are aware that there are a few BNI members that have had to evacuate. Hi everyone! We wanted to give you an update on our son, Brian Violette. It's been a few days over 2 months (3/8/20) since his terrible accident. Think about i...t, he didn't know the world would be quarantined. Well....he was moved to Santa Clara Medical Center for Rehabilitation. They specialize in brain injuries. They work with Stanford Medical. The downside, even Jackie can not visit, which does make him upset and agitated. He does beg us to "break him out." The upside is this is a place known for their fantastic work with brain trauma. He will get 3 therapies a day, 7 days a week. His doctor graduated from Armijo. What a small world! It is exactly what he needs to fully heal. We were fortunate to visit him last Tuesday at Enloe. So did Justin and Makayla!!! Marshall too! He is recognizing everyone and mentions everyone. For those who sent a card or note. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I have people saying to me you are so strong....I say no, I am a mom who believes that her son will be healed by the Grace of God. It was a hard Mothers Day, as usual I was blessed to talk to both of my sons. Jackie is being strong and taking care of everything. Justin and Makayla miss their dad but look forward to him healing and returning home. Please continue your prayers for Brian and his family. They are much appreciated.
