Blue Peace House

Update: The Famous Blue Peace House should be returning to Airbnb in April or so. The Camp Fire evacuees staying there bought a house here in town and moved out December 1. I need to get it back in short-term-rental shape but am recovering from a nasty fall and knee surgery and am not really in any condition to do much work. Again, I'll use this space to keep you all posted. Thanks for understanding.

New driveway at the Famous Blue Peace House, thanks to the hardest-working genius in town, Winston Colgan. Camper belongs to Camp Fire evacuees, who are moving in Friday.

This is the bike Jim Dwyer bought after his was stolen in front of S&S, must have been Spring of 2015. It's been locked in the garage of the Famous Blue Peace House since I bought it in June of 2016. This afternoon, I took it over to Pullin's Cycles, where owner Steve O'Bryan is fixing up bikes to give to Camp Fire victims. I know that Jim would have wanted his bike to take this path. Note the Santa on the porch. The family staying there lost their home in the fire, and their little girls were afraid Santa would go to their burnt-down home instead of here. Their parents put this one out there so the real Santa will be able to find them...
