Photos of blue whales and killer whales from yesterday's extended trip! 6 hours on the water in Monterey Bay yesterday yielded sightings of 6 cetacean species: humpback whales, Risso's dolphins, Dall's porpoise, Pacific white-sided dolphins, blue whales and killer whales! The blue whales are feeding offshore Monterey Bay, right on the edge of what is reachable on a 3-4hr trip.... #getonaboat

Today we explored offshore Monterey Bay and found at least 12 feeding blue whales!! This is the largest aggregation we've seen in a long time! Inside the bay we also had around a dozen humpback whales and a nursery pod of Risso's dolphins!

Incredible encounter with 10 killer whales this morning! We were super lucky to find them a couple miles out of Moss Landing Harbor and got excellent looks! Then we continued offshore and found humpback whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins and Risso's dolphins! #getonaboat
