Replaced number 3 piston and all the rings on this 2275cc motor.

Whipping up a brand new 1904cc stroker motor.

We are also doing some work on this 1987 VW Scirocco 16 valve. Inland German will be rebuilding the 16 valve motor with some valve train and cam upgrades. This thing is really going to move when we are done.

Stripped the 1977 convertible down for paint and body work. Also getting ready to replace both pan halves this week. We are also rebuilding the fuel injected 1600cc motor.

This 1970 Fastback came into our shop with a worn out fuel-injected 1600cc engine. We upgraded the motor to a 1776cc engine with a 110 Engle cam and an Empi 38 eGas carburetor kit and tri mil type 3 exhaust to push it down the road. This beauty was built by the man, the myth and the legend himself Stacey B.

Finished building this 1835cc long block today. Tomorrow i will put the sheet metal on and we.can get it back in the 67' bug it goes in.

Here is one of our many VW builds we currently have going on. It is a 1971 super beetle in a family that has been passed on to three generations. Its got a freeway flyer trans, modified 1776cc engine with a 7.4:1 compression ratio, 042 heads, and 110 Engle cam, billet serpentine belt kit and an Empi 38 eGas carburetor, electronic ignition and much more. Total sleeper motor.

VW Community and Friends: just a reminder that Blodget Precision Aircooled is having a September tune-up special. The tune up includes adjusting the valves to factory specifications, check the compression, install four new spark plugs, two new valve cover gaskets, a new fuel filter, a new set of Bosch ignition points, setting the ignition timing and cleaning the jets in the carburetor. The cost is $120.
