In her first year at the Blind Children's Center, Zariah has made incredible strides in the infant class! Today for #BlindnessAwarnessMonth, we're celebrating Molly Burke, a motivational speaker and YouTuber who is blind who joined us at our Light the Way Celebration in May! We're so thankful to have Molly's support and to celebrate her accomplishments.

To honor the individuals who have made, or intend to make, an estate-related gift to BCC, we are pleased to announce formation of the Tom Sullivan Legacy Society. White Cane Safety Day has been observed annually in the United States since 1964 and celebrates the achievements of people who are blind or visually impaired using the symbol of the white cane, an important tool for independence. We'd like to shout out our wonderful friend Blake Stadnik who performed at our Light the Way Celebration in May! Blake is an actor and musician who is blind, and an amazing advocate for artists who are blind or visually impaired. He plays Jack Damon on This Is Us, and our student Sebastian plays the younger version of the character! Thanks for being a part of our students' success stories, Blake!
