DW Collectors Series Neil Peart Rush RARE "Replica" Time Machine Snare Excellent This is the first hand painted first version "replica" of this snare. They made this model and the "Icon" model. The Icon model has 250 made and the "replica" has a unknown amount possibly a lot less. You can tell the difference with the plastic gear lugs. Very hard to find and amazing snare. This drum is in excellent condition with original tag. It looks like someone maybe played this a few time...s (a few dirt spots on head) but was kept for collecting and looks great! Collectors condition. Vintage Slingerland 70's 3 Ply Maple with RERINGS Avante Drum Set 23,12,13,18 Great sounding drums in black finish. These drums were made with the two tom posts. The drums do have a few minor issues. The badges were turn upside down so there is some imprints on the finish from it. Not huge but you can see in the pictures. Some normal wear and use for being over 40 years but and the 12 inch tom has a couple dings on the finish (see last pics) . Also the tom mount i have doesnt... fit the bass so doesnt fit the tom mount. Normally these drums have the three toms up top but this comes with two toms but has the 18 which is sought after. Blakes Drum Shop in San Diego California Tama Artstar 1 Cordia Candy Apple Red 5pc Drum Set kit CUSTOM SHOP 20 INCH KICK!! Custom ordered one of a kind!! Custom shop... The kick is very rare ! Only a couple artstar version 1 20" inch kicks known in the world!!! The candy apple red finish is also hard to find. Neil Peart had the artstar candy apple red prototype kit at one point. Pretty amazing and great sounding set. The Artstar 1 line was the most expensive early 80's tama set. Some things to mention regarding the kit. its mostly original but not 100%. I restored it to as close to original as possible. The kick, 13 and the 12 are totally 100% original factory. The 16 and the 10" were cordia drums professionally repainted candy apple red to match. I am not sure what happened to the original 16 that likely came from the factory when this was ordered but it looks fine . Probably looks 90% paint match. The badges I had to reinstall on the 10 and 16 since they were not put on properly and while they look fine the aftermarket pins to connect the badges are a tad bigger than original but are very close . Still a great kit . So overall it still looks fine and is super rare in the 20 inch alone. Sizes: 20x18,10x9,12x11,13x12,16x16 Due to the original artstar drums being only 16 inches deep and this being a 18 they had to use superstar bass lugs on the kick. Very Hard to find size and one of a kind!! !! I have never seen a candy apple red artstar kit for sale in north america. Only seen one orphan tom in 15 years (they do pop up but very rarely).
